My photography exhibit will include both black and white, and color photography made with both film, and digital cameras. My interest in photography began while I was finishing my Associate Degree in Atlanta. I started seeing people being more outward than I had ever seen, which led me to a project in Atlanta photographing "Americana". The place, pace, and lifestyle are all very different, and exciting to me. Photography is my way of reacting, and sharing this fascination I have. Being behind the lens means more than making pictures, it means a discovery of beauty in us humans. Everyone has a different view of the world, and it is rewarding, and challenging as a photographer to represent the complexities of any culture.
Diego Armando Ajiaco Barragan was born in Bogota, Colombia in December 31 1988, oldest of three brothers. I grew up in a humble, and yet somewhat successful working-class family in Bogota. I graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Economics from the University of Los Andes in Colombia, and an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Perimeter College Georgia State University.
