A special exhibition honoring Atlanta's African American heroes and their response to the AIDS epidemic in the first decade. The exhibit will feature the artwork of Sistagraphy and an audio oral history of these leaders experiences in the early years of the fight against HIV. This one-night only presentation will also include an intergenerational dialogue between members of Georgia Equality's Youth HIV Policy Advisors program and early heroes in the fights against AIDS in Atlanta that looks back over 30 years of advocacy and what is needed today to end the epidemic. The event is co-sponsored by Georgia Equality and Counter Narrative Project.
